Join WPL

Washington Premier League is always looking for competitive teams and serious players. WPL is a USASA member league for men's 11v11 soccer, playing full 90-minute matches on premium fields across the Washington, D.C. metro area. FOR TEAMS If your team is serious about joining, contact Ramón Madan and include a contact name and telephone number. FOR PLAYERS If you are a serious player looking to join a competitive WPL team, openings are often available. Contact Ramón Madan with your telephone number and a brief description of your playing experience. CONTACT Ramón Madan · 703-624-8085 · [email protected] TEAM SIZE A realistic roster for a full WPL season is 16 to 20 registered players — enough depth to cover injuries, work conflicts, and a long schedule without relying on the same eleven every week. REFEREES Referees are paid in cash at the field. Each team pays $110 per match. Budget for this as a standard team expense on every match day. JERSEYS Teams need matching numbered jerseys. The home team changes colors if there is a conflict with the visiting team, so a second set or alternate shirts is worth having. SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING Teams are welcome to carry club sponsors on their kit. Clubs and local businesses interested in league or team sponsorship should contact the league directly.
